Chris and his team designed and installed custom shelves, an island, and supply cabinet in our office supply room. Chris and his staff arrived on time for every appointment/consultation, and listened to our specific needs and what we wanted. He also sent over the design before we were expecting it, and had us on the installation schedule immediately after confirming the details. Chris and his team are an excellent example of “under promise, over deliver” customer service throughout our experience with them. The end result was exactly what we hoped for. I had dreamed of a library in my home for years and called Chris to see if he could help. I sent him a photo of my grandfather’s antebellum house, which had beautiful floor-to-ceiling bookshelves along one wall with a fireplace. Chris worked with me inch by inch to mimic the look and feel of the special shelves in my own 50s-built home. His installers were fantastic, the process was effortless. I finally have my library, with an even more personal touch.

I would have given Closets by McKenry, Chris, and everyone involved in our closet reno 10 stars if possible. There was no point in this project that was not absolutely perfect. Of the three companies we asked to give a quote and design, Chris was the only one who had an eye for what we were asking for and went out of his way to give us the concept and design we needed. He caught our vision. He gave expert advice, while at no time belittling our ideas or arguing. Any time we visited the showroom, we felt welcome and cared for. The closet components are high quality and the two installers were wonderful young men and very respectful of us and our house. They even cleaned up after themselves. Not many in construction do that. I believe the rail system is well attached and have no fear of anything falling. Install took less than a day. After the install, we realized there was something we needed that we forgot to ask for. Chris took care of it and within a couple of days, we had what we needed. Even though we don’t have a large closet, Christ treated our needs as if we were designing a space that would give him a lot of return financially. His quote was actually the lowest of the three companies we contacted. We love the new space, and the soft-close drawers are great! I really can’t say enough about Chris and all the other people with Closets by McKenry. Highly recommend. Would use again without hesitation or getting quotes from any other company.

I found Chris McKenry to be the consummate professional. His attention to detail was very impressive. He followed through on everything he said and responded to my many concerns relating to space and how to manage the volume of clothes, shoes, purses, etc. His help and guidance was invaluable to the project. My closets are beautiful with more space than I thought was possible. Do yourself a favor…hire Chris to help you get organized.
